I remember it like it was yesterdat when we attended the Travel Goods Trade Show in Las Vegas on March 10-12, 2017, alongside the Zima team was a great experience! We received a lot of positive, amazing and reliable feedback, as well as making some great contacts during the event and even we learned a lot.
Exhibitors and Attendees
Exhibitors included large name luggage and travel accessory like companies such as Samsonite, Lipault and Eagle Creek and a healthy number or smaller companies just starting out like Zima.
Attendees included both large corporate chain and smaller independently owned retailers, distributors, manufacturers and members of the press.
Zima Booth
The concept for our booth was centered around the idea of allowing tradeshow attendees to purchase, test and create business contacts and alliances, and the ambientation that we used isvsimilar to that of a “Hudson News” booth just like in an airport, where many people would enter to look around. To facilitate this we purchased commercial furniture (like wooden racks with a small tv screens on each side of them, wallpapers, other types of commercial and store racks and our products) and we contracted 2 models to pose as flight attendants, so that we can motivate people to feel the ambience like they are in an Airport in the United States.
Many people came to see our products, no matter if they were businessmen, travel fans and aficionados, as well as pass-byers and, most importantly, potential business and retail customers.
A customer experience at our booth
Once, a woman even asked us for our products since she told us that her neck hurts during flights and since she had an upcoming flight, so since she was desperate to find a pillow, she passed by to our booth and when she asked for our product specs purchase a travel pillow for herself, and we showed her around the booth, and she was astounded with the comfort and the price we presented her our products, and when she knew we were not from the country but rather from Mexico, she was very happy since she travels to Mexico often and she even chatted with me and she sounded very intrigued about our products that she purchased not one, butt hree different models, the 24 COMFORT (a neck pillow model designed for long-term flight from 8 to 24 hours), ELITE (this product model in particular is not particularly known for its longevity, but it is well known in our customer circle as creme-de-la-creme of comfort), and the Xtreme model (which can survive high impacts and sustain the slumber for longer periods, and some customers say that it can prevent snoring in uncomfortable positions).

Our thoughts...
Overall, my experience at the Travel Goods Trade Show in Las Vegas was incredibly rewarding. We had the opportunity to showcase our products alongside renowned companies in the luggage and travel accessory industry. The positive and helpful feedback we received, as well as the valuable contacts we made, affirmed the quality and appeal of our offerings. Our booth, designed to recreate the ambiance of an airport, attracted a diverse range of attendees, including retailers, distributors, manufacturers, and travel enthusiasts. The presence of two flight attendant models added to the immersive experience and captured the attention of passers-by. We were particularly delighted when a woman experiencing neck pain found relief in our products and ended up purchasing three different models. Finally, the trade show provided me and the Zima team, with invaluable knowledge, exposure, and potential business opportunities, solidifying our belief in the comfort, innovation and value that our products provide to customers in the travel industry to passengers.
